The architecture of ancient Bukhara is famous for its madrassahs, mausoleum and mosques, the most ancient in the Muslim world (mausoleum of Samanids dynasty and mosque Maghoki Attori). Bukhara is known as �fulcrum of Islam�. Its 2500th anniversary was widely celebrated by the whole world in 1998.
